Rotary printing machines running at high speed require high precision in registration, folding and cross cutting sections of the machine. Electrostatic charging bars with opposite polarity, placed on either side of the paper web, will prevent air from being trapped in the ribbon, thus improving the sheet registration. This registration control during cutting and folding will reduce dog-ears and ribbon weave for trouble free converting.
